DATES FOR 2011 (Updated 11/08/11)HORIZON HORSEBACK ADVENTURES (Based on private game reserve and historic ranch in South Africa) The HORIZON HORSEBACK ADVENTURES holidays are available all year with arrival and departure on any day of the week. Family holidays are also available by arrangement.
HORIZON HORSEBACK SAFARIS (Based on a private game reserve in South Africa) The HORIZON HORSEBACK SAFARIS and the two conbination safaris (Big five and surf and Turf) operate on scheduled dates throughout the year, but additional dates can be arranged for groups of four or more. HORIZON HORSEBACK SAFARI (4 nights) The Horizon Horseback Safari in South Africa, is generally 4 nights, although some of these 4 night safaris can be combined into an extended Big Five Safari of 11 nights (see Big Five Safari (11 nights) below for applicable dates) or an 8 night Surf and Turf Safari (see Surf and Turf for applicable dates).
BIG FIVE SAFARI (8 nights) The Big Five Safari combines 4 nights at HORIZON HORSEBACK SAFARIS, South Africa, followed by 4 nights at Limpopo Valley Horse Safaris (LVHS) mobile or static camp in Tuli Block, Botswana.
SURF AND TURF SAFARI (8 nights) The Surf and Turf Safari combines 4 nights at Wild Coast Horse Trails on the Wild Coast of South Africa, with 4 nights atHorizon Horseback Safaris, South Africa.
